2. Service Scope
- We provide professional aquarium installation, setup, and maintenance services, including but not limited to:
- Aquarium assembly and placement
- Water system installation and filtration setup
- Fish and plant introduction (if applicable)
- Regular maintenance and cleaning
- Water quality testing and treatment
- Any additional services not listed above must be agreed in writing before work commences.
3. Quotes, Estimates & Acceptance
- All service quotes or estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
- A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your request for service in writing or via email.
- We reserve the right to adjust quotes if unforeseen circumstances increase costs (e.g., access issues, structural constraints, or additional materials).
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due according to the agreed schedule stated in the quote or invoice.
- We accept payment via cash, buy now pay later, debit card, credit card.
- Late payments may incur interest at 4% per annum or as permitted under UK law.
- We reserve the right to suspend services until full payment is received.
5. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the site for installation or maintenance.
- Ensure the area is free from hazards that may impede our work.
- Inform us of any pets, health, or safety considerations on site.
- Follow any guidance provided by our technicians regarding aquarium care.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule appointments by providing at least [Insert Notice Period, e.g., 48 hours] notice.
- Short-notice cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- We reserve the right to reschedule services due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen operational issues.
7. Warranties & Liability

- To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Matthews Aquatic Paradise Ltd is not liable for:
- Loss or damage to fish, plants, or aquatic life beyond our control
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Pre-existing structural or plumbing issues
- Liability for defective workmanship is limited to correction of the issue at our discretion.
8. Health & Safety
- All installations and maintenance will comply with relevant UK health and safety regulations.
- Customers must notify us of any site-specific risks before work commences.
9. Intellectual Property
All manuals, guidance documents, images, and content provided during services remain the property of Matthews Aquatic Paradise Ltd. They may not be reproduced or distributed without prior written consent.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
